Thank you for reviewing the Privacy Policy for Seattle Asian Sports Club (“SASC”). SASC is sensitive to the issue of confidentiality is committed to protecting individual privacy. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform users about the general approach SASC uses in collecting, using, and disseminating user information.
What data do we collect automatically and why?
When you visit http://www.sascsports.org/ and you have not otherwise identified yourself, our website server automatically recognizes your domain name, but not your email address. We collect the domain name and monitor general website use and traffic patterns to improve our website.
Do we use Cookies or Tracers?
Cookies are small data files placed on your hard drive by a website server when you visit. SASC may use cookies for tracking purposes or to make the website easier to use. Cookies are currently the only way to effectively identify a unique anonymous visitor and understand how they navigate our website. An anonymous visitor to our website remains anonymous in all cases. We get PII from your requests for our services and products, such as via registration forms. We also get PII from your transaction experiences with us, such as registration payments by check. When would we disclose your information?
We do disclose PII for those receiving King County Paul Robeson awards. Otherwise, we do not rent, sell, or trade any PII about you (e.g., email addresses) to third parties. SASC may disclose information to third parties assisting us in processing a transaction requested by you. In order to cooperate with legitimate governmental requests, subpoenas, or court orders, to protect SASC and/or SASC’s systems and customers, to ensure the integrity and operation of SASC and/or SASC’s business and systems, or with your consent, SASC may access and disclose any information it considers necessary or appropriate under the circumstances.
What about children’s privacy?
SASC asks children under 13 not to transmit any information to the website. SASC welcomes the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 to use the website and provide any information, service, or product gained from the website to their child.
How can I make sure my information is accurate?
Keeping your information accurate and up to date is very important. If your information is incomplete, inaccurate, or not current, please email us at board@sascsports.org. We will promptly update or correct any erroneous information. Please contact us if you have questions or feel that we have not handled information about you properly.
What if data is transmitted internationally?
If you are one of our international guests, we realize that you may want to know whether your personal information will be transferred out of your country of origin. Please be aware that when you register or request a transaction on a SASC website, your personal data may be transferred to computers in the United States in order to process your request.
What about external links?
For the convenience of our website visitors, SASC may provide links to third party websites that are external to SASC. These websites are not operated or controlled by SASC, and SASC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such external websites.

From time to time, SASC may revise this Privacy Policy at its discretion. We note the date of the policy below, so you know when it was last updated. Users will be prospectively bound by the then-current version of this Privacy Policy.
